So, 2 days ago, we had record-shattering heat in the Twin Cities metro area. We reached an impressive 103 degrees. It was the hottest day in lots and lots of years. Then, the wind blew, 40 hours passed and now I am wearing a sweatshirt and looking at the forecast with a high of 59 for tomorrow
I compare this weather pattern to a toddler. One second they are playing happily (sunny, breezy and 75), then the next second they just freak out and throw a fit (humid, windy and 103), then as quickly as the fit began, they want to snuggle and give you hugs (breezy, partly cloudy and 59).
As you can see, Minnesota and toddlers are basically the same thing.
ps- y'all know the snuggling/sweatshirt weather part is the best
