I am the girl who is trying to decide if she should update you all on the last few months of her life or just choose to ignore the fact that she has completely neglected the bloggy-blog. I am the girl choosing to do a little of both.
The last three months were for:
- Travels--Florida Keys and Indiana
White Sand on the ocean floor---so gorgeous.
Southernmost point in the United States--93 miles to Cuba
Mama and I flew right into Key West--wha what?
Who caught a freaking huge fish--THIS GIRL!
- An insane amount of babysitting.
- Learning to trust in God's plan even when my plans fail.
- Experiencing stress, excitement and disappointment simultaneously
- SNOW--blizzards, extreme cold, more snow, freeze-your-face-off windchills, more snow...
- Car problems galore
- A new found love for the TV show "Bones"
- Becoming the owner of an iPad--woot woot.
Well, there ya have it, a small glimpse into the last few months. Trust me, this list is not exhaustive, but it will suffice for the bloggy-blog.
Now, for the new stuff.
As of today, college graduation is officially 3 months away. This reality is both exciting and terrifying. In the interest of trying to follow the plans of the One who holds my days in His hands, I have officially decided make Minnesota my permanent, post-graduation home. This was not an easy decision, but I feel God's hand holding me here, so here I shall stay until He leads me somewhere else.
As of today, I do not know where I will live. I do not know where I will work. I do not know of the challenges that will come. But, I do know that even when all of my plans fail me, God's plan prevails.
In the mean time, I am the girl in the frozen tundra of Minnesota who is learning to trust the One who is able to far more than she could ever ask or imagine. I am the girl who is choosing to stay over 600 miles from family. I am the girl choosing to living in a place that considers sculpting things out of ice and driving pick-up trucks on lakes normal activities. I am the girl waiting for her dream job. I am the girl wondering what's next. I am the girl striving to serve faithfully while she waits for something incredible. I am the girl learning more each day about what it means to trust God completely. I am the girl anticipating the marvelous ways that God will use her passions, gifts and experiences to further His Kingdom. Yep, I am that girl.
